Ms. Nataliya Stepanyak is the laureate and winner of a special prize “Best belcanto Singer” of the “Jan Kiepura Vocal Competition” (2018) in Krynica Zdroj, Poland. Nataliya is the finalist of the «Competizione dell’Opera» Vocal competition (2017) in Linz, Austria. Also she is the winner of the competition «Young Talent» by Spivakov Fund.

In the fall of 2019, Nataliya became a soloist of the Odesa State Opera, where she already made her debut as Violetta in the premiere production of “La Traviata” by G. Verdi.

On April 2020, she will also have a debut as Mimi in the premiere production of “La Boheme Puccini in Odesa State Opera.

Another debut is expected in July 2020, this time as Fiordiligi from “Cosi fan tutte” by W. A. Mozart, which will take place as a part of the summer festival “Coloratura Fest”. Also, should be mentioned that Nataliya Stepanyak is the founder of this festival.

In 2019 there were lot significant concert programs which Natalya organized with INSO-Lviv Academic Symphony Orchestra. The interesting thing is that Natalia was not only guest singer, but also as director and event manager.

On February 2019, she was the guest opera star for the opening of Ukrainian Ball” in Vienna. On November 12-16, 2018 she was the delegate of cultural field on Ukrainian Week” at the UN Headquarters in Vienna, where she had a honor of being a musical guest for the opening and closing ceremony. Also, with famous ukrainian pianist Yaromir Bozhenko she performed works by Ukrainian composers (V. Barvinsky, M. Skoryk, O. Kozarenko, Kos-Anatolsky).

July of 2018 has become very special for Nataliya. She have debuted as singer in style of Italian belcanto in role of Adina in Donizetti’s «L’elisir d’amore» at the Summer Festival «Lirica in Circolo» in Crema, Italy. In December 2017 Nataliya sang the role of Morgana in the premiere of Handel’s «Alcina» in the State Opera Stara Zagora, Bulgaria, conducted by Niels Muus. In the summer 2017 she sang Minevra in «Orpheus in der Unterwelt» at Badhall Opera House, conducted by Ernst Theis (Director of «Badhall Summerfestival»). 

In the summer of 2016 Nataliya was a Soloist at the «Wiener Philharmoniker Sommerakademie» as Despina in Mozart’s «Cosi fan tutte» and made her debut at the Wiener Konzerthaus, Musikverein Graz, Brucknerhaus Linz and in Odeion Theater in Salzburg.

In the 2015-2016 concert season Nataliya Stepanyak sang leading role of Violetta in Verdi’s «La Traviata» (children’s version) at the Vienna Dschungel Theater and the role of Papagena in Mozart’s «Die Zauberflöte» (children’s version) at the Mozarthaus in Vienna.

As a student of the Opera’s Master Program at the Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität der Stadt Wien she sang the role of Servilia in Mozart’s «La clemenza di Tito» in Theater Akzent, Vienna, and the role of Morgana in Händel’s «Alcina» in Muth Theater, also in Vienna, both conducted by Niels Muus.

In addition to performances on the stages of opera theaters in Austria, Germany, Italy, Bulgaria, Natalia Stepanyak gives mane solo concerts, collaborating with different orchestras at various concert venues of Europe. The biggest of them was her own project “Reincarnation” on the stage of the Lviv National Philharmonic (Ukraine), where she acted not only as a soloist, but also as a director and initiator of the project. Also, Natalya took a part in projects “Evening of Operetta” accompanied by orchestra “Con Fuoco” Youth Orchestra, and in Rotary’s Club performance at the Guniadi Castle (Austria), with Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.

Nataliya Stepanyak received her master’s degree from the Lviv National Music Academy named after M. Lysenko specializing in Folk Instruments (Bandura) and Solo Singing. In the spring of 2019, Natalya completed her studies at the Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität der Stadt Wien and received her Master of Arts degree in Opera.

Besides the opera stage Nataliya Stepanyak has many concerts with orchestra at different concert halls in Europe. The largest of which is «Reincarnation» – her own debut at Lviv Philharmonic Concert Hall with a solo program where she also was a director, initiator and manager of the project. She also sang at an Evening of Operetta at Muth Theater with the orchestra «Con Fuoco» and a Matinee with the orchestra of the Wiener Philharmoniker Summer Academy, conducted by Michel Werba at Schloss Hunyadi, Austria. Also, she had Concert with Solo program at Potoczki Castle in Warsaw, Poland.

Ms. Nataliya Stepanyak holds both Bachelor of Music and Master of Music (Bandura) degrees from the Lviv Mykola Lysenko National Music Academy. In Winter 2019 she will complete her Master of Art degree at the Opera department of Musik und Kunst, Privatuniversität der Stadt Wien.
